Australian International School, Indonesia : ウィキペディア英語版
AIS Indonesia

AIS Indonesia, formerly the Australian International School - Indonesia, is an Australian international school system in Indonesia.
There is a primary campus (Preschool 3 to Year 6) in Kemang, Jakarta and a secondary campus (Year 7 to Year 12) in nearby Pejaten, Jakarta. Another campus is located on the Indonesian island of Bali (Preschool 2 to Year 12) and the newest campus can be found in Balikpapan (Preschool 2 to Year 10), East Kalimantan.
The school is introducing the new Australian Curriculum commencing with English, Mathematics and Science in 2012 and currently offers courses accredited by the ACT Board of Senior Secondary Studies (BSSS) in Years 11 and 12. It was recently granted "World School" status by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) and will begin teaching the senior Diploma program in January 2015.
The school was scheduled to change its name from "Australian International School" to "Australian Independent School" in 2014, in correspondence with the Indonesian government's regulations on prohibiting the use of the word 'international' in school names.
==History==
AIS Indonesia was founded in 1996 in response to a demand for inclusive education within the international schools in Indonesia. Prior to the formation of AIS, children with special learning needs were not accepted by any international school in Jakarta.
With the involvement and support of professional educators, diplomatic and commercial representatives as well as a group of parents, the school opened on 15 July 1996 with an enrolment of eleven students.
Today the school has more than 850 students and offers Preschool to Year 12 classes with specialist support for students with learning difficulties, limited English language proficiency or physical disabilities. The school is about to embark on campus redevelopment projects on existing and new sites in Jakarta and Bali that will significantly increase its enrollment capacity.
